For people
1. Early screening for healthy and tumor susceptible individuals
It is
recommended to test the occurrence of tumor in the early stage by checking
whether there are circulating tumor cells in the blood of healthy population.
It is recommended to test once a year in order to detect the tumor in the
embryonic stage, so as to ensure the early cure rate. However, it is
recommended to test once every 3 months or half a year for people with cancer
family history, people with HPV positive infection, chronic hepatitis, chronic
gastritis, chronic enteritis, long-term smokers, people who are often exposed
to toxic and harmful substances, people with high life pressure and high mental
tension, and people with high risk of tumor susceptibility by genetic testing.
2. For
cancer patients undergoing treatment, regular CTC testing is needed to monitor
CTC dynamics
(1) The number of CTC significantly decreases or disappears, suggesting that
patients can benefit from the current treatment. It is recommended to test once
before each treatment cycle;
(2) The number of CTC continues to increase or no significant decrease, which
indicates that the effect of early treatment is not good in patients, or the
patients have drug resistance to the treatment, and there is a risk of disease
deterioration. It is suggested that a professional doctor should conduct a
comprehensive assessment of the disease progression.
3.
Monitoring of tumor recurrence
(1) No
CTC was detected, indicating that the patient's current condition is stable or
the prognosis is good. It is recommended to test once every 3-6 months;
(2) The detection of moderate CTC indicates that the patient has a high risk of
tumor recurrence / metastasis. It is suggested that a professional doctor
should comprehensively evaluate the condition.
